Hi, I'm Shari

I'm a writer, storyteller, former educator, and lifelong learner who believes that every organization has important stories worth sharing.

For more than a decade, I've helped people communicate ideas clearly—from teaching students and supporting families to interviewing customers, subject matter experts, and organizational leaders.

Today, I work with organizations that need thoughtful, strategic content that informs, inspires, and creates connection.

My Background

Before becoming a professional writer, I spent years in education as a teacher, teacher of the Deaf and hard of hearing students, autism consultant, and homeschool educator.

Those experiences taught me how to listen deeply, ask better questions, and explain complex ideas in ways people can understand.

They also gave me a deep appreciation for the power of stories to educate, encourage, and inspire action.

My Approach

Good writing starts with curiosity. I enjoy digging beneath the surface, asking thoughtful questions, and discovering the details that make a story meaningful. Whether I'm interviewing a customer, speaking with a subject matter expert, or researching a complex topic, my goal is always the same: To create content that is clear, credible, engaging, and genuinely useful.

I believe the best projects are built on trust, communication, and collaboration. When you work with me, you can expect thoughtful questions, clear communication, prompt responses, and a genuine commitment to understanding your organization and your goals. From our first conversation to the final draft, I aim to make the writing process straightforward, collaborative, and enjoyable — delivering content that reflects your voice and serves your audience.
